Try the Ukraine consul. We do all kinds of trade with Easter Europe these days - often on a barter exchange basis (see http://www.bartercard.com.au ).
In the old days we used sawdust straight from the sawmills, delivered by tip-trucks. We designed a trapeze mounted trimmer conveyor, Redler scraper conveyors for reclaim, transverse screw conveyors for horizontal distribution, and steam injectors into the fire boxes.
Later the 5 central plant hospital boilers were converted to oil fired. Less maintenance. No one cared to include the cost of foreign exchange, fuel costs, or eco-fiendliness into the bottom line calculations.
Today the Portuguese reclaim methane gas from their organic composting land fill to fire boilers. They, with the Scots, are world leaders in renewable energy sources. The rest of us are half asleep.
