SPE’s K Show 2007 Training Programs

to include “Advances in Extrusion Technology” Conference, a Seminar Series, and “Improving Quality& Tool Efficiency in Injection Molding” Conference

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) will offer their conference and seminar expertise to the attendees of K 2007, the 17th International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, taking place October 24 to 31 at the Congress Center South in the Düsseldorf Fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

SPE’s “Advances in Extrusion Technology” Conference

On October 29th, SPE is offering an Extrusion MiniTec & Conference entitled “Advances in Extrusion Technology.” This event will feature the latest developments in extrusion machinery (single, twin), including screws, dies, measuring devices, cooling and haul-off systems, new materials for extrusion (resins, additives, fillers, reinforcements) and innovations in extrusion products such as film and sheet, pipe/tubing, profiles, monofilament and wire/cable.

SPE Seminar (Training Course) Series

On October 25-26, SPE is offering training courses on a variety of topics, including:

•Ways to Reduce Life Cycle Costs within Injection Molding

•Plastic Additives

•Fundamentals of Thermoforming

•Mold Making and Mold Design

•Injection Molding

•Failure Analysis and Prevention

SPE’s Seminars are led by instructors who are experts in their field, drawn from both industry and academia, and bring many years of practical and theoretical experience.

SPE’s “Improving Quality & Tool Efficiency in Injection Molding” Conference

On October 25th, SPE is offering a Conference on “Improving Quality & Tool Efficiency in Injection Molding”. Topics will include:

•Rapid Design and Engineering: an Advantage for Mold Making

•The Correct Steel Selection for Injection Molds

•Reduction of Cycle Time in Injection Molding
