We design an manufacture many types of lining systems for scrubbers, let me know what you have and we can design something for you

Wet Scrubber Liner

So long as temperature is not excessive, natural rubber. I am currently surveying wet scrubbers in an iron ore processing plant. The 6 mm rubber lining is still in good condition after 30+ years.

Dears,

thanks for your attention. first of all I would like to describe ourselves wet scuber system(venturi scubber) secondly ask you some questions:

raw gas introduce the system from a cyclone then pass the venturi head(where water injected) and throat and then pass an elbow we call it dffuser and pass seperator scrubber at the last step.

if we use wet scubber in iron ore reduction plant:

1- will we have corrosion problem?

2- why we should use liner?

3- in which equipments we should use liner?

4- the material of liner?

5- have you heard about using hardox(wear protected plate from SSAB Co.) in some parts of wet scrubber.

thanks

Yes you will see some corrosion but more abrasion as the wet ore passes thought, if material is going through a scrubber its normally to assist in washing the product, is this what you are using it for?

Rubber lining is ok but a pain to repair, the best system in bolt in NR liners, they are easy to change and can be any thickness.

Bolt in liners can be used in any part of the plant, and can last up to 10 times longer than steels depending on conditions.

Hardox may work, the more aggressive the conditions NR would be better.

Masoomeh,

You talk about an iron ore reduction plant. Does this mean gas at elevated temperature. What is the gas composition? What is the pressure loss across your venturi scrubber?
