Bottom Ash
Dear Sir,
You maybe interested in using HOLO-FLO units. These are essentially hollow flight screws used in coal fired fluidized bed boilers. The water cooled screws allow the cooling medium to circulate through the flights and jacketed housing. Since bottom ash is considered abrasive, the flighting design at the inlet section require special design to prevent water leaks due to pressure, corrosion and abrasion.
