The requirements for flanged drivelines in construction vehicles have increased in the last several years. This is due to, among other things, extended emission requirements, higher power density and lower mass moments of inertia. Additionally, higher temperature and medium resistance are required.

Voith Turbo Hochelastische Kupplungen GmbH & Co. KG introduces the new coupling series BR 350 for flanged construction application at the bauma 2007.

This coupling features progressive stiffness characteristics, velocity proportional damping, high temperature stability and medium resistance. It offers very compact installation, is simple to mount, maintenance-free and reasonably priced. The coupling is especially suitable for flanged torque converters, e.g. in wheel loaders, dump trucks or graders as well as for splitter gear boxes in excavators, cranes etc.

Voith Turbo, the specialist for hydrodynamic drive, coupling and braking systems for road, rail and industrial applications, as well as for ship propulsion systems, is a Group Division of Voith AG.

Voith sets standards worldwide for papermaking technology, power transmission, energy technology, and industrial services. Voith was founded on January 1st, 1867. With approximately 34,000 employees, annual sales of € 3.7 billion and over 250 locations worldwide, Voith is one of the largest family-owned companies in Europe. Voith is an official partner of the initiative "Germany – Land of Ideas".
