Type of wagon

Dear Sirs,

I want a help. Kindly let me know the type of wagons to be use for transporting the iron ore fines (100 mesh size).

Kindly suggest on urgent basis as I am working in a project where this kind of materils need to be handled.

Dear Banerjee, You can use bottom discharge wagons and as well as open wagons.Please note that you will have to find out with RITES/Indian Railways which type of wagons are available at that Particular site.

If the wagons are open type, in that case you will have to go for wagon tippler and for bottom discharge type, you will have to go either for plough feeder or vibro feeders.

If, you need the Drawings and costing for the entire system we can provide you the same.We have developed similar type of system for 7.2 mtpa Iron ore terminal recently.
