Screening zircon sand

Hello,

I'm searching voor a system which separates Titanium Dioxide from Zircon sand.

Particles of sand bigger than 45 m must be seperated from the sludge which contains Titanium dioxide, demineralised water and zirconsand.

We use vibratingscreens which have a 100 mesh screen.

The problem is that these screens don't last very long.

It also deforms as a result from the temperature (40 - 70 C 104 - 158 F) due to these temperatures the currents screens weaken. Also the mesh isn't correct anymore.

The screens are kept clean with sliders which are placed underneath the screen and 'tap' against the screen.

The zirconsand is waste material and won't be used again.

Are there manufacturers or experts like you which operate in the Netherlands who can help sort out what type of screen should be used?

I'm suprised you throw away the zircon. We sell as much as we can make - there's a world wide shortage

We use the zircon for grinding the titaniumdioxide.

The amount of waste is approximately 0,5 mt per month.

Why dont you consider using a drilling mud cleaner screen with desilting cones for you project? they are easy to repair and maintain as it-the flow- is is all wet screened.

with what you require you only need a very small mud cleaner.
