Fines Generation

If too aggressive .......YES a vibrating screen can indeed create more fines.

ESPECIALLY on very FRIABLE materials.

Effect Of Fluctuation Of Belt On Return Fine Generation

Erstellt am 21. Jun. 2006 - 04:03

here in our plant we r facing 30% return fine generation from blast furncae, that is a big issue. i just want to know whether fluctuation of belt drive can produce return fine of sinter or not during transportation. we use 3 idler system.if fluctuation of belt drive contributing towards return fine generation then how can we reduce that?

Chute Modofication

here at our plant we r facing return fine generation of sinter as a big issue.at present we use incline chute,in which we use a stone boxing,so i just want to know out which type of stone boxing we should use to reduce impact.i also want to know out whether curved chute can be an alternative or not?

Generation Of Fine

our sinter screening is linear one ,it is running at 10mm amplitude, 750 rpm & it is facing sinter particles ,size varying from 0-10mm.its rated capacity is 169 tph & it is running at 185 tph.so i just want to know whether this motion is vigorous enough or not to produce return fine generation?how we can improve the efficiency of this screen? 40% patricles are having size>3.15 mm

Overhandling Can Produce More Fines

Erstellt am 23. Jun. 2006 - 04:02

The shear number of transfer points in very fragile, friable material can be a problem. Excessive drop heights can be a problem between transfers.

Designing a nice ROCK ON ROCK SHELF inside of the transfer head box positions and lessening the drop height can reduce fines. If we SMACK onto steel liners on the transfer.....fines are created.

Impact slider beds below feed end of receiving hopper chutework area vs standard 20 deg troughing idlers can improve BOUNCE, VIBRATION and rough handling of product.
