Metso Minerals Wear Protection and Conveying focus on customers
Metso Minerals, the leading supplier to the rock and minerals processing industry has announced a strengthening of its organisation with two new appointments.
Mr. Adrian Quigg has been appointed Senior Vice President, Sales, of the Wear Protection and Conveying business line. Mr. Quigg has extensive experience of WPC products, from both inside and outside of Metso Minerals. His principle responsibilities include development of MM WPC global sales & service resources, and in particular the delivery of WPC growth strategy.
Mr. Quigg has extensive experience of the rock and minerals industry. With an after market background, he joined Nordberg in 1999 as technical Services Director. After working as the UK Aftermarket Director until 2004 he has now rejoined Metso Minerals, based in Trelleborg, Sweden.
In a comment, Mr. Quigg said, ”Metso Minerals, Wear Protection & Conveying Business Line has significant opportunities for growth. With our wide range of proven Trellex & Skega products we will improve our market position in a number of product-market areas. I am delighted to be back in a truly winning team here at Metso Minerals."
Mr. Victor Ruiz-Sanchez has been appointed Distribution Development Manager, Wear Protection and Conveying, based in Rugby, United Kingdom.
Mr. Ruiz-Sanchez joins Metso Minerals with extensive experience of distribution management in large international companies. In his previous position at Caterpillar/Perkins he was Parts Sales and Distribution Manager for Africa.
Within this newly created position he will assume responsibility, initially in Europe, for development of the business line's distribution concept.
