Rhewum (G.B.) Ltd have supplied several static WAU type screens to the Quarrying Industry where the requirement was to screen sticky, damp material at fine to very fine apertures.
Two years ago Rhewum were asked if they could supply a track mounted mobile screen to replace three static Rhewum screens that had been in operation for over 25 years.
A track mounted Liberty mobile screen was launched in May 2005.
Our first mobile screen has now been in operation for over 8 months. The unit has consistently handled up to 100 t.p.h. of Limestone with a moisture content of up to 15% and a screen cut of 3mm without any blinding.
The screen can be used on Limestone, Granite, Sand, Construction and Demolition Waste and also Soil. Separation is in the range of 0.2 to 10mm with a feed size of -50mm.
Standard woven wire mesh are used to give a longer mesh life and cleaner cut compared to piano wire.
