What do you want to improve:
1. power
2. capacity
3. mineral surface area generated per kW
4. size distribution bias to a particular product sceen spec.
5. equipment life
6. all of the above
The wet ore and size distribution may play a role in reducing throughput. The shape of the mantle and concave can be changed to improve many of the above. This is not a suitable point to elaborate on here. ■

Crushing damp ore
Hi all
I'm a metallurgist in training (MIT) in a diamond processing plant. The problem we have here is, low throughput (tonnage) from the Kawasaki gyratory cone crusher during the rainy season as the ore fed is wet/damp.
Are there any parameters/settings we can change in the crusher to improve the tonnage?
Thank you in advance. ■
