As a result of our Information been posted on the Bulk- Online forum page a large Chinese Crusher manufacturing company has started working closely with our company TRM LTD of the UK to develop this most upto date 1350 series Mineral Sizer, This Primary unit (125 tonne) is to be installed on a track mounted chassi, with plate feeder and outfeed conveyor. The Mineral Sizer will be fully mobile and capable of producing over 5,000 tonnes per hour of overburden material with upto 2 metre cubed feed lumps to an out feed size of 350mm. 90% of the Mineral Sizer will be manufactured in China, only the heavy duty gearboxes and main shafts will be manufactured in the UK, then shipped to China. All remaining components, ie 3 tooth segments, picks, breaker bar, bearing housings and Mineral Sizer body will be manufactured in house at the Chinese companies plant.
The Mineral Sizer will be powered by 2, 400kw electric motors, each motor will be controlled with an inverter drive allowing the shafts to run in sync or out . Electric motor Power will be transferred through fluid couplings into the gearboxes, the gearboxes are connected to the main shafts by gear couplings. (No sycronizing gears).
The Mineral Sizer has been designed with the input of mine engineers. Incorparated in the Mineral Sizer is the TRM proven shaft removal system. The main rotors can be lifted clear of the Mineral Sizer without the need to remove gearboxes, fluid couplings or electric motors. All wear components can also be removed easily to allow for minimal downtime.
The Chinese are very please with the outcome of our relationship and will benefit longterm with the future release of larger and smaller machines, In time the whole Mineral Sizer range will be manufactured in China.
