Dynamic Analisys in Belt Conveyors

Does anyone ever try to find a natural frequency in a operating belt conveyor ?

We're trying to find this to compare with the natural frequency of the structure itself that supports the conveyor to precise if there is not a possibility for the all struct goes into resonance.

The struct natural frequence we already discovered in a finite element program and it's closer to 0,3 Hz. But we can't find anything about the dynamic response in the conveyor ...

Any help will be appreciated!

Best regards

Structure at 0.3 hz sounds too low.

There methods to obtain the belt using FEA. You must use the hyperelastic strain energy model and solve the factors in one of the three or four standard hyperelastic constitutive models.

You must also solve for the multi-layer orthotropic conditions for each of the three principle plains: axial, transverse axial and crossectional.

How many degrees of freedom are you solving for?
