BEUMER supplies high capacity lines to Klasmann-Deilmann
At the beginning of July 2005, the BEUMER Maschinenfabrik received an order for complete high capacity palletizers and high capacity packaging lines from the substrate manufacturer Klasmann-Deilmann for the Sedelsberg works. The Klasmann-Deilmann Group operates several works in North Germany, in the Baltic States as well as in the Netherlands and today ranks among the market leaders worldwide with a turnover within the group of EUR 120 Mio.
The Sedelsberg works produces different substrates and fills them into PE-bags. BEUMER provides the eqipment for the following palletizing of the PE-bags and for the final package by mid of September 2005.
The packaging line comprises two high capacity palletizers of the type BEUMER paletpac® which are timed together onto a following stretch hooding packaging machine of the type BEUMER stretch hood® S.
The capacity of both palletizers amounts to 1.400 bags per hour in a 3 bag bonded pattern and a stacking height of max. 2.200 mm. The palletizing systems are equipped with a central empty pallet supply with a memory for two types of pallet which are the EURO pallet and the non-returnable pallet. These are fed to the corresponding palletizer according to requirements.
The BEUMER stretch hood® S packages with a capacity of 75 packages per hour.
BEUMER convinces by the special, very customer orientated design of the complete installation und by the very short delivery date by mid of September (10 weeks after order placement).

Die BEUMER Maschinenfabrik erhielt Anfang Juni 2005 den Auftrag über komplette Hochleistungspalettier- und -verpackungslinien vom Substrate-Hersteller Klasmann-Deilmann für das Werk Sedelsberg.
Die Klasmann-Deilmann Gruppe betreibt mehrere Werke in Norddeutschland, im Baltikum sowie der Niederlande und zählt heute mit einem Gruppenumsatz von 120 Mio. Euro weltweit zu den Marktführern.
Im Werk Sedelsberg werden verschiedene Substrate produziert und in PE-Säcken abgefüllt. BEUMER liefert bis Mitte September die Maschinen für die anschließende Palettierung der PE-Säcke und die Endverpackung.
Die Verpackungslinie umfasst zwei Hochleistungspalettierer BEUMER paletpac®, die auf eine nachfolgende Stretchhaubenverpackungsmaschine BEUMER stretch hood® S zusammengetaktet werden.
Die Leistung der beiden Palettierer liegt hier bei jeweils 1.400 Sack/Stunde im 3er-Verband und einer Stapelhöhe von max. 2200 mm. Die Palettieranlagen haben eine zentrale Leerpalettenversorgung mit einem Speicher für 2 Palettentypen, nämlich der Euro- und der Einwegpalette. Diese werden je nach Bedarf einzeln dem jeweiligen Palettierer zugeführt.
Der BEUMER stretch hood® S verpackt mit einer Leistung von 75 Paketen/Stunde.
