Johnson Brakes are located about 30 min from our office. CDI is available to help with Johnson if you wish. We do frequent testing with them. ■

I would also like to recommend Svendborg Brakes. We have used Svendborg brakes on many belt conveyors in different projects and have been satisfied with their performance. In addition we are working together with Svendborg to develop an inteligent brake and expect the first operational inteliigent brakes to be installed later this year.

We require constant torque type brake of 18 kn m (brake rating 25 kn m) to be provided on belt conveyor .
Brake may be spring applied hydraulically released type . Can somebody locate good supplier for these brakes. Actuation time should be better than 0.5 sec
