It all depends upon the condition of the cement and accessability to the ship. Mobile truck mounted pneumatic ship off-loading units are often available at ports. You could hire one of these for the job. They will typically off-load cement at 200 ton/h. Self off-loading road vehicles are widley used for the transport of cement. You could hire a fleet of these and load them from the mobile ship off-loader. ■

Bulk Cement Problem
We are a marine salvage company. See our website to understand what we do. We are not a recycling company but a company that works for insurance companies to re-float ships and generally solve marine problems associated with damaged ships. On many occasions we have to handle bulk cargoes. In this case I would like to talk with an expert in moving bulk cement from a capsized ship. It is a problem we would normally solve with a crane and bucket operation but are considering how to move it with compressed air or other means. Can you recommend such an expert?
