Hexagonal Silos

Posted in: , on 25. Feb. 2005 - 15:46

Worldwide patent pending technology for jack construction of hexagonal shared wall bulk bins with hopper discharge. A plurality of shared wall hexagonal silos uses 40% less wall material than a shared wall rectangle/square bin or up to 39% less wall material than a plurality of individual round silos.

Jack construction can cut construction costs by up to 70% compared to crane construction. The silo components can be fabricated by most metal working shops, although roll forming from coil steel would be most economical. This technology is for license on a per country or region.

25,000 Ton Concrete Silo

Erstellt am 25. Feb. 2005 - 05:35

25,000 Ton Silo is a large silo, I would recomend concrete slipform for that application. My innovation is most practical where multiple bins/silos are required. To best size range for my silo innovation is 100 ton to 1,000 ton for each silo. The most economical range is where 6 to 36 shared wall silos are needed.
