Dear Mr. Antonio Osorno:
You should refer to ISO for this information.
Visit their website at www.iso.org and use their search tool.
It is likely that the standard you require is ISO1537:1975, although other standards apply.
Hope this helps. ■

Hello there,
In the European market you can consider ISO 5048 which deals with conveyor design, ISO 1537 which deals specifically with idlers, BS2890 which is an overall specification for belt conveyors and includes idlers, and also DIN22112 (three parts) which is specific to idlers.
You might also consider SANS 1313 (South African - in two parts) which is an extensive idler specification.

Idler classification
Hi everybody,
I have a question:
In Mxico we use the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) idler classification when we design Belt Conveyors, does anyone know what kind of classification is used in Europe?
Best regards,
