Dear Dr. Wohlbier

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We are an equipment and material supplier from Cairo, Egypt, and represent some European companies in Egypt.

The site "bulk online.com" helps us in our bussines as we are equipment suppliers in Cairo Egypt at many times.

Now we have a tender in Egypt.

We have a client who has a project to built 4 metallic grain storage silos with a conical concrete bottom each of capacity 30,000 MT.

We look for a partner we can represent in this project as a local dealer.

Can you choose a firm suitable for that?

Or can you advise in bulk-online about this project

Waiting your quick reply.

Best Regards,

Grain Hopper Bins

Erstellt am 22. Jan. 2005 - 04:42

Our company Agrico Sales has built ~900,000mt of large steel grain silos. About 1/2 of them have been over concrete hoppers. However, we have never seen a 30,000 ton grain bin over a concrete hopper. A 32m dia X 27m sidewall to 36m peak steel silo over a 40 degree concrete hopper would hold approximately 19,000mt. Our experience is that very large bins are not necessarily more inexpensive than say a 15,000mt bin. Therefore we recomend you look at 6) 15,000 mt bins. If interested in a quote contact us through our website www.agricosales.com

Thanks,

Frank Kelly

we are with MR.Frank Kelly'S LOGIC that the silos more then15000 t capacity will not be logical, again this will also depend upon the size and location of site/land where this project is coming. up. For the gentlemen information the nos. of silos built in asia including india for for the last ten years were about 2300 and 85% of them were having capacity beteween 12000-15000 tonnes.
