Dear friends,

I would be interested to konw if anyone has a equipment for Conveying of wet material as per propotion given below to a vertical hight of about 25 M.

The raw meal moisture is as given:

Limestone :

84 % proportion with 14-16 % moisture with 13.4 % as Average moisture, 0-100 mm particle size.

Clay

13 % proportion with 22-30 % moisture with 3.9 % as Average moisture, 120 mm particle size, max 5 %

Schist:

3 % proportion with 28-32 % moisture with 0.9% Average moisture.

Vertical Conveying Of Wet Material

Erstellt am 14. Aug. 2006 - 09:13

Mr. Athreyan,

I have been hesitant to post my thoughts because your requirements are not complete.

What is the required conveying rate in t/h, etc?

What is the material bulk density in t/cu-m, etc?

Is the moisture level retained by the material or does it run off as free water?

Our DSI Snake Sandwich High Angle Conveyor System is very successful in handling wet and sticky materials. It features smooth surface rubber belts that can be continuously scraped clean. The material is sandwiched and hugged between the two belts developing the materials own internal friction to convey at any angle to 90 degrees (vertical). Our system proves especially advantageous where high volumetric rates must be lifted.

For the 100 mm minus material we would likely recommend a DSI Snake of 36" BW. The conveying rate may require a wider belt.

Please post the additional details of your requirements or send your requirements to the undersigned (see contact information below)
