Selection of the blower type basically depends upon the conveying pressure. You should calculate this pressure. If it is up to 1 bar, use a twin lobe type pd blower, if it is between 1 to 3 bars, use a screw compressor, and if it is higher than that use a centrifugal compressor.

Use either a V twin or V4 piston comprssors - Kockums etc

They are very very common for this duty and have a PTO V belt drive from the truck PTO
