New Order – Pneumatic Conveyors for Dam Project in Myanmar
A leading international construction machinery manufacturer has awarded Telschig Verfahrenstechnik GmbH an order to supply a complete cement handling plant for an important dam project in Myanmar. A total of 6 concrete mixing units each equipped with 2 working silos with a capacity of 150 tonnes each are to be fed as required from 7 storage silos with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes each. The system requires 3 pneumatic conveyors with extensive ancillary equipment, each with conveying capacity of 55 tonnes per hour. The maximum feed path is 70 metres.
Two (2) of the pneumatic conveyors are exclusively for cement, and the third is only for conveying pozzolan, similar to fly ash. The working silos on the mixing units are protected against overfilling by maximum level indicators. The working silo filling process is terminated automatically as soon as the maximum filling level is reached. The pneumatic conveyor starts up as soon as the minimum level indicator registers empty. The consignment also includes metering feeders, pneumatic conduits, including aerating fans, dust extraction filters and electric control units with cabling. The plant will be erected and commissioned in March / April 2005.
