I assume, that the powder is filled by a pipe system.
Your requirements for detecting a metal particle size of o.27 mm
can be achieved by a pipe type metal detector of a round troughput opening of a size of 50 mm.
We supply metal detecor/ separator systems for powders in gravity feed pipe systems type Rapid 5000, which is designed
for this job.

Wij denken met de Fortress Phantom metaaldetector wel een oplossing te kunnen bieden maar hebben nog wat informatie nodig. Wat zijn de hoevelleheden, de inbouw hoogte, is er een uitwerpmechanisme nodig enz.

Ik heb begrepen dat jullie naar een Metaaldetectiesysteem zoeken voor een poeder vulsysteem.
Je geeft aan al bij diverse bedrijven navraag te hebben gedaan en natuurlijk zeggen ze allemaal dat ze het beste systeem kunnen leveren.
Ik weet niet of je al genformeerd hebt bij loma Systems in Helmond. Wij zijn een bedrijf gespecialiseerd in inspectiesystemen met ruim 40 jaar ervaring. Om aan te kunnen geven of wij wel of niet aan de vraag kunnen voldoen is afhankelijk van een aatal zaken. Daarom wil ik je vragen contact met ons op te nemen voor de extra informatie en wij kunnen daarop aangeven of het wel of niet haalbaar is de metaaldelen te detecteren. Hello Dirk
whilst I cannot guarantee the specifications of the following equipment we are extremely happy with its performance both in a human feed and an animal feed environment where we utilise the SAFELINE metal detector and extractor in our premix operations. The system in the case of the animal feed premix is placed directly under the outlet from a sieve (output about 15t per hour) and is set to detect metals ferrous or non ferrous. In the event of detection a deflector valve is activated which diverts the flow instantaneously to a 'waste' collector and then returns to normal flow once the material is detected as 'clean'.
Our premixes are powders varying in colours but certainly a white to creamy powder is not unknown if for instance we are making a milk replacer premix. Please note our premixes may also contain minerals depending on the composition.
Tha safeline has a whole gambit of settings available including of course sensitivity. The advantage over a magentic system is that more than the magnetic ferrous metals can be removed.

Magnetic metal detection in powder flow
Giday,
We are currently looking for a metal detection sytem we want to install in our powder filling system. I have found a few suppliers and they all, of course, say their system is accurate etc. The size of the metal particles however is limited. And that's where my concerns lies: the particles we can detect in our lab control are small but visible and certainly not detectable. Can anyone reply to this forum their experience. The product is for human consumption and canned. The powder particle size is about 270mu, free flowing, white to cream white.
