The SiloDrill by Bürkle now has a new self-regulating chamber lock

The SiloDrill has been specially developed for taking samples from silos and bulk transporters.

If bulk transporters cover long distances then demixing of the loaded product always occurs. This means that a surface sample will not be representative; a multi-layer sample must be taken. With the SiloDrill this is at last possible.

The SiloDrill is simply screwed manually into the bulk material. With the aid of its helix it penetrates the depths of the product. This ensures that samples can be taken from deeper layers - thanks to the extension rods even down to 3 m.

The new self-regulating chamber lock ensures that, with abrasive products, opening and closing the sample chamber at the target location takes place without friction. Samples with a volume of up to 400 ml can be taken in one sampling action.

The SiloDrill is not just suitable for bulk transporters, it is similarly used in various bulk material containers in the pharmaceutical, chemical, foodstuffs and semi-luxury goods sectors, etc.
