The LEVOLOOP® System, from Hydro Packaging AS, provides efficient sack handling throughout the distribution chain.
LEVOLOOP® Benefits:
- utilises polypropylene packaging material as a lifting device
- satisfies functional requirements both in production and logistics, through to the end user
- is a cost-effective alternative to conventional methods of sack handling
- has been approved by Det Norske Veritas in compliance with the EC Machinery Directive and ILO stipulations
LEVOLOOP® Types:
There are currently 3 distinct LEVOLOOP® machine types :
- 1000, a fully automated line, fed with fabric roll with an optional, on-line sack placer and shrink-wrap assembly.
- 500, a non-automated line, robot-fed with pre-made LEVOLOOP® fabric units.
- 100, a non-automated line fed, manually with pre-made LEVOLOOP fabric units.
LEVOLOOP® Products:
- give more efficient handling, less time wasted, less demurrage by reducing vessel unloading time
- allow safe loading on the top of ocean-going bulk cargoes
- enable easy handling by truck, crane or, if necessary, specially designed lifting equipment
- are made from woven PP and, as a lightweight packaging alternative, can typically provide a 1 : 500 – packaging weight : SWL ratio
- reduces packaging volume compared with pallets (= increased weight of product per handling operation)
- increases the stability and protection of the packed unit and lowers the risk of contamination, especially when a PE shroud is utilised
- is a preferred environmental alternative, during handling, at the workplace and in terms of recyclability
LEVOLOOP® 100 feature:
An easy-to-use, compact and robust machine, the LEVOLOOP® 100 is a non-automated unit designed for use with specified, pre-made LEVOLOOP® fabric units, manufactured and sourced through our network.
