Hot Clinker Roll Crusher
Hi All,
At the end of cement plant clinker kilns there is a grate type cooler and a clinker crusher to reduce lump size to less than 50mm ...clinker sometimes forms in large round boulders and snowmen structures. All lumps, boulders, snowmen etc have to be crushed.
If this is not done, the kiln must be brought off line to remove the blockage/lump.
There are two types of crushers used - hammer and roll type.
We have a hammer type and are considering converting to a roll type. Hammer types have high wear and can jam with large lumps.
We are considering buying the cooler OEM's roll crusher.
Does anyone have good/bad experiences with clinker roll crsuhers?
Also....any suppliers out there with proven roll crsuhers for clinker willing to provide a tenders?
