NEW MULTI-BATCH LOSS-IN-WEIGHT FEEDER

Thayer Scale’s new multi-batch ingredient feeder is capable of up to 200 consecutive batches from a single refill. The Thayer SPIRALATOR™ LWF BATCHER is the complete solution to your high accuracy repetitive batching requirements for virtually all materials even those that are very difficult to dispense. From cohesive powders that become cylindrically bored-out by

rotating augers, to irregularly shaped interlocking particles that refuse to converge under the action of gravity hopper sections, the patented Thayer Spiralator™ Vibratory Feeder assures a smooth discharging flow pattern that is the prerequisite to high batch cut-off accuracy.

Thayer Batch software includes provisions for running the system in various feeding modes such as single stage & two stage volumetric, single stage & two stage gravimetric (produces both continuous and batch accuracy), and certain combinations thereof. Special automatic adaptive features allow the batch size (setpoint) to be changed over a wide range without having to fine-tune any other associated control or cut-off parameters, allowing immediate and complete follow-up response as a slave unit to other parts of the process or to a downstream quality measurement.

Founded in 1949, Thayer Scale is a pioneering developer of continuous weighing and feeding equipment for the dry solids processing industry. Thayer’s Conveyor Belt Scales and Weigh Feeders of both the Weigh Belt and Loss-In-Weight types, cover an extremely wide range of applications covering virtually all industries that involve dry solids conveying and processing.

From Loss-In-Weight feeders that feed vitamins into cereals at rates below 1 pound per hour to 6-idler Conveyor Scales weighing coal at rates up to 10,000 tons per hour, there are more than 100 proven product variations available to suit most application requirements.
