• An internal cone baffle is supported using special, vertical members. This design efficiently transfers the vibratory forces to the product above and below the baffle, assuring a continuous, positive mass-flow product discharge. Other manufacturers use horizontal members such as tubing or pipe. Horizontal surfaces work directly against the function of the device. Not only do they act as barriers, resisting the downward flow of materials, interrupting the mass-flow discharge while wasting energy, but they also introduce unsanitary horizontal ledges for product to collect. Activator bin dischargers do not have any internal horizontal surfaces.
• Slotted openings on the vertical-wall members of Activator bin dischargers combine with the circular motion of the vibratory motor to impart a strong sifting action on the product. This sifting action activates the product, assuring a positive discharge.
• Food-grade, white neoprene belting is used for flexible sleeves. Proven strength and durability will provide many years of service. Other materials are available to accommodate elevated pressures or temperatures if required for your application.
• Mild or stainless steel construction materials with welding and surface finishes that are ground, oiled, painted or polished to suit your specific material requirements.
• Activator’s external hanger arms are threaded steel rods with lock-nuts and circular vibration pads that match the circular motion to simply compress and relax, eliminating any wear to the pads. Other manufacturers use hanger arms with pivot points, causing friction that wears out vibration pads, causing failure and lost production time to replace.
