Re: Garland Idlers
Dear Shri Baskar,
Please inform what is the inclination and for what length of conveyor?

Re: Garland Idlers
Yes on carry side. Realize the roll set will swing with gravity pull. Return strand will cause mistracking due to the wing rolls fleet angle that induced imbalance in steering force when belt moves from ideal center tracking. Some contractors and owners have tried to tie back the roll junctions with poor success.
The carry side will swing such that added rolling friction is required to counter roll to belt sliding that occurs in non-linear increasing proportional to the incline angle. There must be a good reason to use this concept. It is not preferred except where shifting is considered. High inclines dont shift well.

Re: Garland Idlers
Some garland idlers come with a casting that mounts onto the stringrer to prevent the wing rollers from swinging. This means that the idlers can be used at any inclination with reason.

Can Garland Return Idlers be used in the inclined portion of the Conveyor system? ■
