There are many factors that influence solids loading but a loading of 2 to 5 would certainly be on the low end of the range for most systems.

For aeratable powders and short transfer distances loadings ranging to 30 or 40 may be possible, even with vacuum systems.

Low loadings in powder conveying systems can make for challenging filter applications on the receiving end of those systems.
