We have just mounted a new innstallation in a Norwegian quarry based on citrus foam.

It looks very succsessfull. The investment is very low and the end result is a nearly dustfree quarry.

It is also very successful in prosessindustry and other industrys wich is not aloud to use much wather.

Dustcon

We are using DustCon which is the same as the Polo product in a mining application and have had many mechanical benefits from its use. The mechanical engineers have justified the cost on the reduced down time and stopping for cleaning pick sprays.

We are now looking at foam to reduce the amount of water used in mining operations which is giving rise to humidity problems.

Hm... What kind of water-usage are you talking about here?

I'm presently looking for a dust suppression(or collection) system for use in a gypsum mine w/ a height constraint of 5', and we have no waterlines - so water's a big issue. What does the foam suppression system look like for size, and what kind of gpm does it use? (for lets say... a 54" roll for a stamler rock crusher).

Thanks,

Steve

No doubt, the best cost to value ratio for a dust control solution is Dust Stop at www.cypherltd.com under Dust Stop and it is 100% environmentally friendly which is something that all products of this nature will soon have to be. It is effective and proven globally.
