Self cleaning air filter

What would be the best kind of self-cleaning filter for a low pressure and low flow air application? I'm filtering out adipic acid and am looking for something virtually maintenance free.

thanks

A compressed air pulse cleaning cartridge filter (dust collector) is what you are looking for. Consult any dust collector manufacturer.

A cartridge collector as well as a baghouse and self contained shaker style units are also available. In order to make a intelligent selection, termperature, actual loadings should be available.

Dear Nick,

there will be several meaning from filter cleaning. some person prefer filter with air pressure some people prefer filter with vibration motor. Very important will be the medium you wnat to filter and what kind of tin is under the filter. If you clean with airpressure you clean the cartrigde with 4-5 bars pressure. That means you get a high pressure direct under the filter for a short moment. Through the extremly movement of the cartrigde the livetime from cartrigde are less than from the filterbags. If we know the hole situation i think we can quote you a right filter for your dedusting. Please visit for further information our webside
