YOU could think of using a VERTICAL SHAFT IMPACTOR.....
It can be used to do large TPH or small TPH which would dictate the model needed.
CAPABLE of reducing the size to nonimal 1" minus or smaller as needed. Typically variable speed drive to accomodate specific operating conditions........vari drive gives you complete flexibility.
CAN run slower or faster easily without changing sheaves.
NO GRATES at all to deal with, you impact, reduce and fall thru the body of the impactor onto conveyor belt.
