Manchester Airport Moat House, April 22 - 23, 2004
Day 1 of the Seminar begins by focusing on Transport & Storage. There are always new and existing products that need to be transported and stored in more reliable, safer and cleaner ways to meet environmental and economic requirements. Throughout the Seminar, two key areas where the acquisition of design knowledge is at a premium are (i) biomass handling in the field of energy production and (ii) waste handling & recycling.
The transportation theme is continued in the next two Sessions, Conveyors & Elevators, and Tunnelling
The final Session of the first day, Mobile Crushing & Screening Plant, looks at the necessary technology and business opportunities associated with the physical processing of bulk and powdered materials.
The first session of Day 2 is Waste Handling & Recycling which outlines current and emerging business prospects for the materials handling industry.
The final Session of BULK2004 opens up the subject of coal fired Power Station Refurbishment. As all of the UK fossil fuel thermal power stations have now exceeded their design life, the requirement to extend the life of mechanical handling systems of these stations is a topical issue.
TOPICS: Transport & Storage, Conveyors & Elevators, Tunnelling, Mobile Crushing & Screening Plant, Waste Handling & Recycling and Power Station Refurbishment
