Processing Magnetite ore to Media Grade Magnetite Product

Would appreciate any advice regarding reference material in processing a raw Magnetite ore with 52% Fe content to obtain a product with 93% magnetite (approximately 96% Fe) content. ■

Hi Gordon,

The concentration of magnetite ores using magnetic separators is a very old technology. The exact circuit will depend on the nature of the ore. The best place to start to track down literature would be in any of the standard minerals processing texts.
