We would like to draw your attention to the international conference

on Uranium Mining and Hydrogeology, including the International Mine Water

Association (IMWA) Symposium and the Uranium Mining and Remediation Exchange Group (UMREG) meeting. The Conference is taking place from 15th to 21st September 2002 at the University of Mining and Technology Freiberg /

Germany. More than 250 scientists from over 35 different countries have

registered for the conference so far. More than 170 contributions have been

accepted for talks and / or poster presentation. The contents of the

conference will be published at Springer publishers. Further information,

all abstracts accepted for presentation and the online registration are also

available at http://www.geo.tu-freiberg.de/umh/. Early bird registration

with reduced conference fee is still possible until 30.06.02.
