The 4th International Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids

The Fourth International Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids (CHoPS-4) will be held on May 26-30, 2003 at Hotel Inter-continental, in Budapest, Hungary.
The objectives of the Conference are to bring together researchers, engineers and industrialists from all over the world, who are active in the areas of conveying and handling of particulate solids, to report on the recent developments and exchange experiences and insights. The Conference will consist of many plenary and keynote lectures on emerging technologies, as well as stimulating discussions about contributed papers, which will be presented in oral or poster sessions.
The topics covered by the Conference are: Solids processing, Production of particulate solids, Size enlargement, Size reduction, Storage of bulk solids, Drying, Segregation and mixing, Separation and classification, Freight transportation, Environmental aspects, Measurements and on-line monitoring, Particle characterization, Coating, Modeling and fundamentals, Production and handling of nanoparticles, Mechanical conveyors and feeders, Pneumatic, hydraulic and capsule conveying. Satellite workshops and meetings are also envisaged.
The Conference will take place in the very heart of Budapest, at Hotel Inter-Continental with marvelous view to the Danube River with its impressive bridges, the imposing Royal Castle and to the green hilltops of Buda side of the Hungarian capital. Budapest has a reputation for hospitality and provides an excellent opportunity to experience the famous Hungarian cuisine and wines.
