Double Roll Crusher
Dear Sir,
With the information provided, McLanahan Corporation would not suggest use of a double roll crusher. The application details are somewhat confusing as the message states crushing 300mm to -37mm, but the sieve analysis indicates that 850mm to 1500mm lumps are 14% of the feed and 200mm to 850mm lumps are 19% of the feed. Is screening before the crusher utilized to scalp off the +300mm material?
Either way, the ratio of reduction in this application exceeds the abilities
of a double roll crusher. We would recommend a two-stage triple or quadroll crusher to produce the -37mm product with a limited top size feed of approximately 900mm.
Please advise if further information on McLanahan Two-Stage Crushers is required.

Crushing And Screening Lignite
Dear Mr. JHA,
I am involved as project manager in a crushing and screening plant design for bituminous phosphate rock for 600 T/HR.
After tests done by crushers suppliers Mc Lahanan-USA was considered as leading supplier for double roll crushers.
Based on sieve analysis done by crusher supplier we prepared a technical
specification for vibrating screens. The leading supplier considered is IFE-Austria.
