We are using some belt conveyors with K grade belt according to DIN for transport of coal for our power plant.
We are using belts from 2 or 3 different brands. Recently we have been told by a new supplier (seems reputable one) that a conveyor belt, cannot be defined flame retardant "K" if it is produced with cut edges; so we have been suggest to buy only moulded edges belt in order to be compliant.
