Biography:
Ms Hampton began here career with Synergy Engineering Ltd. in
1996 while completing her Engineering degree, graduating with
Honours in 1998 from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia.
Nicole specialized in Electronics Engineering at Simon Fraser,
while concurrently focused within Synergy specifically on the
R&D, design and application of wound rotor induction motor
(WRIM) secondary resistive controllers (SRC). The results of
her initial accomplishments in furthering the development of
WRIM secondary resistive control at Synergy became the basis
for her undergraduate thesis for her Engineering degree.

Ms Hampton has been registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia since May 2003,
and is also registered in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Know-how and experience:
Over 15 years experience in design, manufacture,
and testing of wound rotor motor (WRIM) secondary resistive controllers (SRC), Nicole
is internationally recognized as a subject matter expert in WRIM SRC technology, providing
consulting services for drives, analysis of existing drive systems, feasibility studies and WRIM
SRC specific technology training.
Within Synergy, her activities continue to include R&D and engineering for all types of motor
control, as well as project management responsibility for large materials handling initiatives
applications that have sensitive motor control at their core.
