Re: Pneumatic Conveying Of Fishmeal

Hi Erlingur,

in the past we did a lot of pneumatic conveying with bone- meat- and bloodmeal. So we learned that the most important fact for troublefree operation is, to keep the content on water and fat below a certain limit (approx. 13 to 15%).

If you need more detailed information about handling of animal-meal don´t hesitate to contact us.

Dear Erlingur

Schenck Process UK Limited have great experience in the field of phase pneumatic conveying and have used this technology to transfer fish meal in the past. We are able to offer either lean phase or dense phase technology depending on the specific characteristics of the material, transfer rate and distance over which you would like to convey the material.

More details of the technology we can offer can be found at www.schenckprocess.co.uk

Alternately I would be happy to discuss this application in more detail and can be contacted at jbooth@schenckprocess.co.uk

Please define 'vessel' with better accuracy and explain it's location in terms of 'goods in' or 'goods out'.

It might well be possible but is it wise or necessary?
