Layout for Gyratory Crusher

Recently I was doing a layout for Gyratory Crusher, usually the haul truck dumps ROM directly to Gyratory Crusher, here is one style I found, I am wondering why this one was selected. since this one used more equipment than the typical one. here is the picture attached for your reference.
