4000 M Olc With Fabric Belt

It can be done.

Your selection is poor. There are better design components than NN2000/5. Why Nylon?, Why high belt strength?, Why not Steel cord?

The belt stretch will be a major issue. Big take-up travel especially for nylon.

There are too many caveats to name that should also factor in the design.

Mr.Nordell

Thanks! for your reply.

Please suggets the better selection for this?

Instead of Steel cord, I was trying to select N/N considering cost factor.

Other than delayed acceleration and Jerk in Take-up what else is the issue with belt stretch?

Please share the other issues, which you expect.

N/N Belt For 4kms Long Conveyor.

Dear Satish,

Mr.Nordell is very correct. No one normally uses NN belt for 4 Kms long conveyors due the requirements of very long take up.Even I don't suggest EP belt for such a long conveyor if it is single run.

Is there any lift.Steel cord belt is the option.ST1400 can be taken as equal to NN2000.

You have to recalculate the pulley diameters etc also.

Narayanan Nalinakshan.
