What process are you exhausting? What dust loading? Is the air moist?

A door in the bottom of the duct facilitates cleaning if you can hose out.

If you are expecting heavy dust build-up, space them at 6 m intervals.

If you design the system properly, according to ACGIH, there should be no need for cleaning.

Michael Reid.
