EP 1000/6 and referring S shape vertical conveyor.
Belt is 60 kg/mtr and run by 75 KW DOL motor.
Conveyor is operated at 250 TPH. Vertical height is 55 Meters.
Total endless length is 140 metres.
Belt Configuration : 250+75+550+75+250
I was fearing that only few clamps ( at cog pulley side wheels travelling area 250 + 250 ) need to take the entire load of the belt when it would be passing the cog pulley ( Step pulley )

Mechanical Joint in Vertical Conveyor
Dear experts,
Is it possible to run a vertical (90 degree ) steep angle conveyors with mechanical joints ( fasteners or clamps )?
