We have received a mendate from our client in Srilanka to look for a prospective buyer particularly in Gulf states for disposal of Fly ash @o.7mtpa from Aug. 2010 onwards. We have three logical solutions for our friends--
Please note that In India about 5 years back people used to throw this flyash and power producer used to give money to lift the same.But the scenario has been.People from India now exporting the same to GULF countires.Please note that the cement cost in GULF is around US$ 65 PER TONNE and they are allowed to mix 35% of fly ash so you can imagine the cost of this fly ash.I have following proposals for you--
1. Setup cement grinding plant in Srilanka ,Import clinker from Pakistan,south on of India or from Bangladesh.For min. 2 mtpa plant you can consume 0.7 mtpa(35%) of fly ash and you profit for only mixing fly ash shall be 0.7 million/a
x US$ SAY 50 PER TONNE==3.5 MILLION DOLLARS.
2. Second option is you should make your own storages of fly ash near port and trade the fly ash to various countries.Own a small jetty or port and trade the same..Also note that this flyash is required by READYMIX PLANTS ALSO.
3. Install your own flyash brick plant and make profit and also earn carbon credit.
