Electronics dedicated to dedusting and air quality
Created in 1981, SEFRAM S.A., France designs, manufactures and sells electronic devices dedicated to dedusting and air quality.
Our product range is composed of advanced dust sensors, based on triboelectricity, which control and record dust emission and the detect failures of dust removal installations; we also propose filter controllers, pressure switches, flow calculators, dedicated automatic controllers which drive dust removal filters.
Our products are ATEX approved, areas 21 and22, for use in EXplosive Atmospheres.
SEFRAM works in partnership with manufacturers of air filters, dust extractors, engineering companies, maintenance companies, and any industrial in the cement works, agri-food, automobile, mines and quarries, smelters, chemicals, pharmaceutics, wood, plastics and metallurgy sectors, powder users as manufacturers of pigments, etc.
A new version of air filter controllers
We just developed a new version of all our controllers : V2 version. This one presents many improvements, like the conception of the electronic circuits : functions have been separated (1 master card, 1 display card), circuits have been simplified and as a consequence, reliability of our products has been improved, aftersales follow-up also.
Thanks to this improvement, V2 version presents anly one controller which can potentially fill all the functions; these ones will be chosen and activated, when asked by customer.
New functions have been developed:
- we can program a fast dedusting (air shot, inside the filter), when deltapressure is out of range
- standby delay between 2 cycles of shots
- low level alarm for deltapressure
- choice of the stop of the cycle : at the end of the cycle or stand-by during the ongoing cycle recording of mini/maxi datas about deltapressure
- option input temperature with thermocouple type K 0-999°C
- calibration of a range of temperature
- recording of quantity of overrange and delay
- possibility to install a network (master/slaves)
- possibility to programm a cycle when installation is out of order wether the logical input is off , or if pressure falls
V2 version will replace V1, but we still deliver spare parts and manage aftersales.
A new compact controller: the EMC 3 – EMC 12
The new EMC3 controller is innovating for many reasons : it is compact, small size, easy to use and will equip small installations (small industrial filters). Indeed, it presents 3 outputs maximum (driving 3 electrovalves maxi).
Technology also progresses : display with diodes, sensitive keypad; this makes a tool easy and pleasant to use (Fig. 1).
We developed the same device of bigger size: the EMC12.
Our integrated PLCs are complex controllers able to drive, monitor and manage the most complex and the biggest dust removal installations. This device cheks and records all datas linked to dedusting and air filtration.
We can put together our integrated PLCs and our dustsensors and pressure switches.
