Dr. Greatly Ibrahim, We would like to bring to your notice that Libran Engineering& Services is providing services related to port development feasibility, layout design for the last 30 years. We have been providing our services in the similar field for world renowned COMPANIES./Consultants like-TATA GROUP ,HASKONING,AECOM,DREWRY,KPMG,CES,FREDRICK R HARRIS etc.

Now, in past we have done similar type of job at same location(SAFAGA PORT) for an Indian Consultant, the main scope of work was--

1.Feasibility Study of Safaga and El- Hamrawein Ports on Red Sea .

carry out the physical inspection of the facilities existing at the EL HAMRAWEEN & SAFAGA PORT, the space available for the construction/installation of additional infrastructure/facilities, study the surrounding areas within 1 km of Port boundary to check the feasibility of parking of trucks and maneuvering/ marshalling of trains

.

2. Study carried out for El Hamrawein Port for assessing the possibility of handling Imported Sulphur exclusively .

) Review of revised drawingS considering that no additional facility is to be created for Sulphur Handling (Only 20/30m extension of the existing Jetty may be constructed).

b) Whether the additional land made available to IEFC at the port can accommodate the following facilities:

i)Construction of covered silos for Rock Phosphate ( 80,000 MT),Sulphur (80,000 MT) and Phosphoric Acid Tanks ( 10x10,000 MT)

ii)Additional material handling system comprising of conveyor galleries & transfer house for solid material and new Pipe line with pumping station for phosphoric acid

c) Whether the existing wagon unloading system at the port can be utilized for the unloading of Phosphate rock

d) Whether the existing conveyor galleries can be utilized for transportation of material to ship and new silos

e) Whether the existing Jetty could accommodate the ship unloader (Grab Crane) for unloading of Sulphur

f) How the Sulphur would be transported from ship to silo using the existing Jetty

g) Truck loading & unloading platform/system, separate for rock phosphate and sulphur so as to avoid contamination of Sulphur

h) Block cost estimate for the proposed facility package wise.

Hamrawein Port:

a)Whether the existing Jetty can be utilized for unloading of Sulphur from the ship, as it is or with some modifications.

b)Preparation of Material flow diagram of Sulphur from ship to Silo and directly to trucks thru truck unloading platform.

We can undertake this chellenge.
