ValvEngineering, of Lucca, Italy, manufacturers of sanitary valves for pharmaceutical powders, introduces a range of silicone rubber flexible compensators.
Moulded in FDA compliant transparent silicone these are of standard height 150mm and have Tri-clamp ends moulded in. There is a separate stainless steel ring to provide a bearing surface for the clamp. This ensures maximum washability and prevents the problem encountered with co-moulded steel rims, that with wear, the silicone starts to come away from the steel at some points with unsanitary results.
These compensators are available in DN 100, 150, 200 and 250 in DIN 32676.
