Newly appointed Metso Global VP of Mining Screens Mr. Greg Albert said "In the 80`s we were working with the Mining Industry to develop wide bodied machines for the boom in the minerals markets. This caused many challenges and we eventually overcame them to be the industry standard in this product range".

Mr. Albert adds "In the 90`s we were again challenged by the mining market to develop even larger capacity machines. This was then running concurrently with the introduction of larger capacity crushing, milling and conveying equipment. This resulted in the design of the then new multi angled screen decks which we pioneered and again became industry standards."

Mr. Albert goes on saying "In the current era the mining customers want a total solution which includes maintenance, reliability, plant optimization, adjustability, for example. We have incorporated into our mining screen range many new innovations that I am sure the industry will once again see Metso as the benchmark in this technology. Combine this with Metso`s global organization, total process offerings including Metso Trellex screen decks and after sales support and I am certain the industry will be excited by the arrival of Metso Mining Screens on the global scene. Moreover, I believe that the screen range will fully compliment the rest of Metso`s impressive mining offerings thus creating for the customer an exciting and unique prospect - the supply of a fully integrated total minerals processing solution from a single expert source, the global benchmark provider - Metso."
